no toner inside the Bk developing assembly

    - the hopper stirring motor is not rotating normally
    - The hopper connector has poor contact
    - The black toner supply motor (M25) is faulty
    - The hopper stirring motor (M23) is faulty
    - The black toner level sensor is faulty.
    - The DC controller is faulty.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Remove bk-dev. unit, it probably is chokefull of toner. Remove 50% of toner from unit and check gearbox on end of dev. unit. The broad gear on back is probably broken inside the gear. Bit difficult to explain, just check and see. Maybe someone can give you partnumber of gear, it's a common problem. Otherwise you'll get it from me on Monday. Enjoy your weekend :-)

Good to hear. I'm only afraid you solved the problem temporary cause you did not take away the cause of the problem. Just let me know if it appears again and I will send you the partnumber of the gear mentioned.
