i have canon irc 2380i all colour is ok except black even in test. drum is ok it happen when i replace new black toner and it is ok on the magnetic roller.

i did auto gradation adjustment, the drum is ok and still no black copy when i choose to black only, in test print all colour ok but no blackComment

I think I had a problem like that with another colour.It was caused by a broken gear on the drum drive.Best way to check is to pull out the process unit and reach in to the back,try turning all the drum drives and if black is broken it will feel different.It is difficult to remove the gear as you have to take off PCB on rear of machine and replace clutch unit.Comment
