[Misc] Ir 1510 drum unit !

Hello !


I need picture of whole ir 1510 drum unit(toner+drum o/we) .. cos i am workin with it first time and i dont know if that strong wire that holds OPC(drum) cover is broken or what..

on mine,one side of it is stabbed into plastic,other side isnt,it just hang around freely ..

also,i dont see any trace of broken plastic or wire. :P

I think we are talking about developer not drum.

The drum shutter mechanism is pivoted at the rear of the assembly by a spring loaded arm. The wire just needs to be popped back into that arm. You hold the rear arm out where you can see it, and pop the L of the wire into the arm. Or simply remove the entire shutter assembly from the drum. It's only purpose is to shield the drum when removed from the copier. I have done this on occasions where the wire did not seem to want to stay in that arm...
