Canon IR2030 :Sharp lines across copies.

Hi, to u all members out there. I have this m/c ir2030 still new, complete with DADF & INNER FINISHER, has done about 4000 copies on the counter. Sometimes it produces copies with a pencil thin sharp line running across the entire length, on both portrait & landscape .The fault is common to both stream reading & copy board functions. I thoroughly cleaned both glasses above, as well as reader unit; disassembled & cleaned drum assembly , just in case, but didn't touch the laser unit. As I stated above, this symptom is intermittent, on certain copies, then not on others.
Any opinion, based on experience even on other or similar m/cs is highly appreciated. Remember the machine is still new.

Now I understand the beasty you are referring to,,, the iR2022 is the one I see in my area, same family. The drum is the most likely candidate, the only other rational candidate might be the CIS unit, (the scanner assembly), but that is most unlikely...

if for a Digital Line that comes and goes
Remove and Re-Seat Ribbon Cable to the CIS unit.
              line 1.jpg

do a CIS adjustment in service mode
              check slit glass
line is in paper feed direction-in same location ??
