1968-Canon NP System, the original electrophotography technology, is introduced and Canon enters the plain-paper copier (PPC) market.

        Dag copiers and computers.

You paid full retail for that PM kit??

You might try to find a new vender to deal with.

        Where is Kampala City ??

              Turning Off the Main Power
              Important
Do not turn off the main power switch when the On indicator is lit or blinking.
Failure to observe this may result in damage to the hard disk or memory.

It's even worse when lazy customers use a wall switch to control the printer power.

              Tell that to OBAMA

Yes my brother, I paid that full amount for the KM pm kit. Actually the machine I worked on was I think an OLIVETTI d-250mf, an exact equivalent of the Kyocera Mita 2550. The official vendor didn't have the part in stock then, I had to secure it through a third party independent dealer. The full kit contained: Drum unit, dev.unit, fuser unit, transfer roller, & ozone filter all packed in one box. It was a bit difficult for me to convince my customer of the price, but neither of us had a choice, we had to go in for it.

Well sorry to hear that. Try not to use that 3 rd party again.

It sells for under $400 here in the states.

                    Best wishes to you Dag.

We maintain hundreds of Sharp devices range up to 20 cpm and I noticed that last without changing parts up to 100k, indeed, some problems may occur but are rugged and profitable in their class until the 300k

                        Re: Best Built Copiers ?

                        Is just my opinion.

                        1. Ricoh why because you can fix every fuser, service mode are friendly , not because use i don't like the development unit MP3500. Board are great no problems.
2 Konica why imaging unit and no so many problems with color quality, but they built some shit.... copiers like Bizhub 361, 420 -C4203 tonner bottle sensor, on bigs copiers the finishers are also bad, board are crazy
3 Sharp are OK. New copiers like MX-3110n are like are friendly but simulation mode is hard to understand.
4 Canon because are monocomponents, not because Tech Mode is hard to understand on older copiers, fusers are not fixing without parts, are using HP sensors like Canon 5050, some have belt for document feeder like C3220 I think is antic. Update to firmware is hard for a non tech to do.
5 Lexmark chip and worst. Just plastic

Depends on every tech, but I had in my history experience all copiers in the world, but not so many Xerox and Toshiba so i will not say anything about those 2.
