    ir 6570 current trip

    morning sir,
    i hv 1 ir 6570, when open machine the current trip, i already change heater unit just can used 3day, the problem come back again!!!!

    Look for pinched wires, if someone was working on it recently. If a breaker or fuse is blowing, work it out with your circuit diagram.
    I have seen shorting drum heaters cause intermittent tripping. unplug it for a while.
    clutches or motors rubbing on wires.

      u have an Error code ?
      what trips off- the main printer power switch ??

      is machine breaker tripping off ??

      is the customers circuit breaker tripping off ??

        building main switch power tripping, not hv any error code!

          I truthfully have never seen a copier trip a customers breaker in a power box, the breaker in the copier, yes, that happens once in a while. The customer likely has more items on the circuit with the copier, and the combined load is tripping the customer panel breaker. The copier is actually supposed to be on it's own circuit, but that is rare these days...

            Tell customer to get an electrician, circuit box needs checking, to trace what else is on that line-

            iR's should be on a dedicated line w/ a line protector
