iR 4570 Hard disk repair

Need help here for repair the iR4570 hard disk using sst.. i already have the 4570 firm ware, but i cannot connect it to the pc, when i'm using new hard disk i connect the machine with pc, the machine won't start..

Anyone can help me..?

U need to first format the HDD in SST

Only one Copy of the Service Support Tool should be present on a given PC.

is laptop IP address set to 172.16.1.101 and the fixed IP address of the machine at 172.16.1.100. And the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 and a known working crossover cable is being used.

I'm buying second hand machine, when it comes to my place the hard disk is nor working, i want to restore the hard disk using sst, i'm already have the firmware but it cannot connect, what should i do..?

Could u help me by describe the step by step with using sst...?

set up IP addresses as above
use a crossover cable between laptop and printer
go in download mode on printer
open SST/ & SEE ABOVE or use Assist Mode

In truth you need Service Support Tool AND the System Software for the 4570. Service Support Tool is just that, a tool, without the System Software, you will not be able to do much with your hard drive issues...
