Hello,

I have a customer cu this machine and the problem is Scanner RBS Service _20110429_154713.pdf

Machine has 680k with only few fixing films changed.
No major problems along the way.
They had been using all kinds of toner.
Now they are using Katun
The problem inst appearing before the page enters the fuser.

i think the problem from fixing film assembly. open fixing film clean fixing heater with a cloth and then apply thermo grease or silicon oil.

We did that and the fuser is moving smoth and easy.

It's toner problem. Clean dev station with vacuum cleaner and put OEM toner, I've tried katun several times but I'm very unsatisfied.

agreed,swop out the toner for oem.also if your fuser is original with only a few fixing films been fitted and now your at 680k.you may want to consider swoppping out the fuser or at least refurbing it properly(lfr,bearings bushes etc)

replace the fixing upper roller film and lower roller
or replace toner catrige,, toner in the hooper and toner in the developing unit.
use one merk toner only

don't be cheap
Removed after market toner from the machine and install genuine Canon toner.
