    [Misc] Service mode MF8350cdn

This is throwing me for a loop. I have downloaded the service manuial for this machine from Canon. And there is a section about the service mode. BUT there is no instruction on how to get into service mode. Anybody willing to help a befuddled tech by posting or e-mailing the procedure please?

Additional Functions' button and '#' button to select 'SERVICE
      MODE'

Thanks for the quick replies. But there is no "additional functions" button on this machine anywhere. Which is what threw me off base with it. Still very weird that the service manual does not have instructions on getting into service mode.

Tried that too. Been around Canons for about thirty years and this is very weird to say the least. I've held the menu button down and hit the *# buttons. Hit all three * 8 2 keys at once. after entering the menus. Once for each selection on the menu screen.

              You have two options:

              1. menu>#
              2. menu>28not at once>menu
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

The second sequence was the ticket. Thank you very much. Now when the dc controller gets replaced I can actually set the machine up according to the settings list.
