Main controller PCB error (Image processing ASIC or memory control/communication control ASIC)
Disconnect and connect the main controller PCB or replace it.

Here's another possibility,
Error :
Error code E747-3906 only after trying to print from Microsoft Excel and/or printing from a Mac.
Workaround :
One of the two PDRM- EF-A PCB's is bad. Replace board. The part number is FM2-9166-000.Comment

I fixed the problem just by cleaning the edge connections on the sub boards. Did not have to replace any parts. And now it's been a couple weeks and they haven't called back. Thanks so much for all the help.Comment
