    Post that p print
Why do u want to do a DCon clear ?

If u don't have the currant settings or the original p print with factory settings, u are playing with fire ;{>

when did I say it was impossible ??
i am saying if u do a DCon clear and u have no P PRINT with settings to load back in > u will have issues trying to figure out what to put back in/
Dcon clear puts printer into standard Factory settings---most of these printers are missing their original personal factory set up sheet-

          if u select COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > P-PRINT to print out the
service mode setting values / it should list your currant settings / have never seen a P PRINT with missing settings

if u select COPIER > FUNCTION > MISC-P > LBL-PRNT > it Prints out a blank service label where u can write down settings in Printer-

          USER-PRT= Prints user mode list.

            Canon imagerunner c3220 and a c3200

My canon c3220 the image just started printing very light as if the transfer belt was not transferring all of the toner to the sheet.
My canon c3200 would restart in the middle of the run and the panel would go out

            Does anyone have any answers

              --------------------------------------;/
Many factors can cause light image/or partial light images---

u are all over the place !!!!/ first u talk about Dcon/ & missing P Print settings> now u talk about very light image, and printer re-start/& panel issues

1-On Control LCD Panel & Printer Re-Start Issues > u first need to power off/unplug printer -remove the Memory>clean ends >re-seat them/ also remove Boot Rom and do the same routine
              MEMORY.JPG
              BOOT ROM.JPG

2-Now on the light image issue> first test to remove the small cover over the ITB Unit, so u can view the image process/ set up printer to print a PG10 test print > look into where u see ITB turning, see if the test print PG10 stripes are on ITB sheet during rotation> (Check all colors as they rotate on sheet) if they look good on sheet and are poorly transferred (light/faint) on paper> look at that Secondary Transfer
Internal Roller (inside ITB UNIT) & on External Secondary Transfer Roller, make sure it is sitting correct & rolls smoothly

              second.JPG
3-If the PG10 looks very light on ITB before transfer to paper> suspect the Primary Transfer rollers (inside ITB UNIT)/ or the Pattern Reader Unit
              (check it's position)

pattern read unit.JPG make sure it is secure on ends/ and in down position

                Hammer time is right.
the sample looks missing the cyan.when you do the auto gradation, the test came out not alignining.
Clean the idle rollers with alcohol;dry clean the primary rollers and ITB belt, pay attention on the cyan roller.
make sure the 2nd transfer roller in charge (broken mechanism).
                run test in the service mode for the gridtest,make sure all colors line up.If not,you can reset the laser home position;
reset DCON or even manufacture setting.
