    IRC2880i - color problem...

    Hai guys,

    I have a problem with IRC2880i, which is the output colour is differ then original. Please see attachment. Any ideas how to solve this prob? Thank you.

    the color should be green, however its look like rainbow color...

    Usually is drum issue.Print PG-10 in service mode test post a pic and we will see whats wrong.

      Make sure your laser mirrors are clean. There should be a blue tool on the inside of the front door and instructions on how to use it.

        looks like a yellow drum issue, but as zoraldinho says print pg -10 in service mode and it will give you a definite answer

          Just go into service mode,hit COPIER, then misc and read the drum life. If the drums are ok do Pascal(auto gradations).As stated the test print will help

                If you clean laser mirrors,check yellow drum life.(replace yellow drum)

                      check the yellow dev clutch, these can seize or the bushing that holds them in can crack and fall out

                          Thank you to you guys. I just order new drum today, hopefully I can get it by this week. I'll check the bushing as suggested by Ciaran.
