Canon ir5000 ripping legal and jamming at turnaround

I have a canon ir5000 that is ripping legal paper on the turnaround guide when it flipps over for face down output, swapped the duplex and cleaned the one ways and scuffed the shafts, going back in the morning with exit roller and oneway gear. Does anyone have any other suggestions, it works fine on letter paper, never bothered checking letter R. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Ray

Also check the flapper arm (FB5-3394-000), it controls the flapper guide in the upper delivery assembly. It could be cracked. It about drove me crazy till I found it.

Oh yes I know that flapper, usaully the paper won't even go into the duplex when that goes but I'll be sure to check it.
      Thanks

Common on 5000 around a million. Replace internal and external delivery rolls and bearings along with one way gear on internal delivery roller assembly. There is an old bulletin about this issue. Only occurs on legal and 17 inch

Canuck is dead on with the answer, my small contribution is this:

These parts are needed to rebuild the fuser exit/inversion area to get rid of ripped legal length copies from slowing up in the inversion process.

if its got 500000 plus check check the flapper for nicks and i would replace the duplex paper sensors. If you take them out you can find them very worn down and often cut. Especially if you work with the likes I used to.
