    IRC3380 jamming

I have a IRC3380 having intermittent Z folding jams. Jam codes are 0109 and 0110. Also the copies come out wavy. I did rebuild the fuser unit. Feed back will be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that the hinge bracket on the delivery door of the fuser is not bent. This is very common. If bent the drive gear on the delivery roller is not driven properly and will put waves in the paper. I usually just reform the bracket. Its the one with the spring on it. Another cause of a z fold jam is because the loop sensor actuator on the door gets knocked out of place..its just above the transfer roll on the door

I have this issue with loads of 3380/3080's. Check the orange delivery roller that is on the fuser delivery area. It gets hard to turn and causes a problem. Take out fuser , remove roller and clean and turn the two black sprung loaded bushes so the roller then turns freely. If machine is 700k or more check the bushes have not gone oval shaped where the shaft fits in. If they have then replace.
Oh...... I can't copy at the moment then ? !!!!!!

The black rollers in the delivery assy have already been removed, I changed the settings in service mode, I bent the bracket a little bit so the gears meshed up better. I took out the orange roller and cleaned the roller and turned the bushings around, added a drop of oil on them. The sensor above the transfer roller was fine. I will let you know if this fixes the problem. Thank you for info.

Usually sticky pads on right door flappers cause this. remove pads or switch r. door.
