[Jamming] Canon IR C3100 - paper concertina

This copier will concertina only the first page (without jamming) after switched off for long period or power save mode during day. New Fuser Unit has made no difference. Any help would be much appreciated.

I've had issues with the flap (part 25 on the pic below) sticking to the pads at each end, and jamming the first time the machine is used every day. We have replaced the pads with pieces of velcro, new pads, or even just wrapped tape around them as a short term fix.

I have been even more frugal on this repair. I just strip the old pads off and leave it be. The pads are only there for noise reduction, and the noise is so very quiet as to be a non issue on the machines I have seen...
