    I would retrace what you did to fix the E900, maybe the conection to the toner feed was left off?

    Sir Canon Tech,

    Right now only cyan has a problem. Is there a chance that the piezo sensor has responsible for this, because this is the only part we think is the cause. we also dismantle this part. in the manual it is called toner sensor, you will see it in buffer assembly. you think it is?

      Perform the following, to reset the toner level indicator.

      Enter User Mode > Additional Functions > Adjustments and Cleaning > Toner Replacement While Printing is Possible.
      Select the color that was replaced, then press YES. This will reset the toner level indicator.

      Note:
      The System Software version must be
      69.01 or higher to have this functionality.





      In Function display settings, u need to scroll through the next few screens
      , use the arrow

      it's in between Limited Function Mode and Shutdown Mode


      Limited Functions Mode---*1 On, Off*
      Erase Remaining Toner Error Message---Erase
      Shutdown Mode---Press[Start]
      Initialize Common Settings---Initialize

      u also need to power off/on when u make any selection in service mode


      Replace the Cyan Buffer Assembly

        I already saw the Erase Remaining Toner Error Message. In order to see it is, I need to set it "On" to the system settings. that's why I cannot see it before. but another problem is, the arrow right next to Erase Remaining Toner Error Message was disable that's why I cannot change it into "Erase".

        about the Perform the following, to reset the toner level indicator. Thanks for this info. I will surely try it tomorrow, I'll let you know the result and also i need to look up the System Software version of my machine. More power to you!!!

          Yes sir, I am sure that i reconnected it, is there any problem or issue for the reconnection of this part? for me only sir ha? In my opinion, I think if it is not connected,the toner sensor will not detect the error message, what I mean is, it will not appeared that, the machine need to replace new toner.             Hello again sir,

            I already reset the toner level indicator using in user mode. now we are observing the machine. Sir another question, what version are we looking for this machine. Where can i see it?

              your MN-CONT 87.50 need to match your Language ver. v90.03

              also u need to upgrade DCON to at least v60.01


              System Software should always match Language ver.

                Sir I already did the reset the toner level indicator using user mode, the problem is, after more than 100 copies all toner was appeared,one by one need to replace toner( all four toners), One thing we found that the remaining toner on the consumables was no effect after almost hundreds of copies we made. this is the image

I already talked our IT to take the latest version of firmware to our canon site. can you help us what to do. thanks in advance sir... we really do hope to solve this problem, this is our first time to encounter this problem. that's why we are frustrated to fixed this.

                  call a Canon Authorized dealer to send a Canon trained tech -have them re-install correct matching Firmware-

                  your system software needs to match your language
                  - yours does not

                  your System MN-CONT 87.50 needs to match your Language ver. v90.03

                  also u need to upgrade DCON to at least v60.01


                  System Software should always match Language ver.

                        Im back again to update this thread, Sir's we already replaced new buffer ass'y (yellow,magenta,cyan,black) but the same problem occured, still replaced toner for each color was appeared. we already the upgrade the Main Con. and Language,boot rom, still no effect for this changes.. any help? thanks

                              Hello Sirs,
                              This is to update this thread.Now i think the problem was resolved. Human Error is the problem. Maybe because when we removed the feed motor, it is not actually fixed or fitted. Now we're doing observation to the machine. Right now we are having hundreds of copies, and no replacement of toner appeared.... thanks for all the supports... especially to those give an ideas and helpful infos.

                                u mean to say in the past four weeks >u never backed tracked to the original PS12 E990-0000 issue /
                                to check the units that were removed four weeks ago

                                the first thing u do after u address an issue in your case (PS12),
                                "Quote"Before it has having error 990-0000 and it was resolved by cleaning of PS12. After we assemble.I start testing.the problem when the color toner was become empty and we replaced it by new cartridge like Yellow, Cyan and Magenta. around 30 copies or more. the yellow toner become empty and it was displaying need to replace new toner for that color"Quote"

                                1-And another issue appears right after a fix> u immediately address the assembly's you removed in the first procedure.

                                you are a lucky tech/ in my area a senior troubleshooter tech would have been on site with the first tech the next day to address the issue/
