Hi everybody.
Being aware of fact that this thread started in 2011...there is still activiti on in ...so I will ask


Cleaning storage space at my parents office i found cannon IR2016J...wich, after powering up, gives me "download standby". After reading forum i know that it is a problem of firmware. Is there any other active sourc of firmware nad necesary tools for fixing this problem - other than Firmware Update - Printer & Copier Firmware ?? If i won`t fix it i will have to dospose of this copier...witch is a shame, becouse it is in a good shape, and someone could use it a litle longer. Affter all , world have enoug of trash alleready....lets save what wee can, and give a new life to it.
