    ir7105 Sk.ewed image

    Hello everyone,

i have a recently trucked in ir7105 that is skewing image (type 1 test print), skew 1/16th inch top to bottom, replaced worn reg roller upper and lower, replaced reg tension springs and brakes, as well as both clutches. forced a jam at trans/reg area to verify paper is skewed not image, so I taken reg assembly out of equation via swapping entire fix/feeder frame ass'y from good machine. still Skewed. Any ideas?

Hello guys, I have the same problem. With test print PG type 1 on A-3 size paper the image skewed about 2 mm to the back from leading edge to trailing edge.
Reg rollers changed, reg guides checked OK, vertical path rollers changed, reg paper loop is OK.
Is this a software issue ? It is not described in the SM.
    Thanks.

Just an fyi here, I would find it difficult to see a 1/16 inch of skew in the copies, and would believe that it would fall into specs at that minor variation of skew. Your last reference to true image is in the entry guide of the feeder frame. perhaps you can tweek that area to retrieve the 1/16th you are looking for...
