Replace the complete itb assy, if you clean the inside of the belt and rollers it will run for a bit, but it will go blurry again

When you say blurry are you saying all colours looked shifted? When you run a full calibration from Addition Functions are the colour lined up correctly looking down the page veritcally? It can be many things. There is a number of posts for sure. Your ITB can be slipping, Reg sensors can be dirty. Post a photo.

Yup. Pull out ITB and clean belt and rollers. Make sure rollers are turning freely and a bearing isn't seized. Likely you'll have to replace ITB belt or exchange with a known good machine to verify. However it is still likely your belt slipping due to nature stretch. Try cleaning assembly first. Good Luck

i've had this plenty of times.your colour reg is way out.it's likely your itb is over life,if your gonna strip and clean the assy it's worth replacing the belt.if this doesn't cure it you may need to clear the dc con too,but consult your manual first.you will need to print a d or p print to re input the values..

be sure to replace the itb cleaning assy with the new itb and powder the belt well. I've had many to the cleaning blades flip.

I have had the blade flip issue on an iRC3380,, the blade flip would actually stall out the belt. Never had one on the 5185 family do this though...

First, need to check life time counter in service mode, then you can talk about servicing or replacing parts.

good point but i've seen the belts on these stretched as low as 60% life..and true gents i've never had a blade flip on these either..
