Sent a scan job via e-mail not knowing network was down. It hung with message saying "converting image, network TX". Tried power down and unplugged all connectors, still can't cancel the job. Appreciate any solution.

Re: IRC 3220 cannot cancel e-mail scan jobs
On control panel
Press [System Monitor].
Press [Send].
Press [Status].
Select the job to be canceled >press [Cancel].
If the job that you want to cancel is not displayed, press [UP] or [DN] to scroll through the list.
You cannot select multiple jobs and cancel them all at once. Select and cancel one job at a time.
If a job is in the process of being sent, it may not be canceled even if you press [Cancel].
The message <Is it OK to cancel?> appears on the touch panel display.
Press [Yes].
The message <Canceling...> appears for approximately two seconds on the touch panel display.
The send job is canceled.
The canceled job is displayed as <NG> (No Good) on the Log screen.
Press [Done].**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.** -

Re: IRC 3220 cannot cancel e-mail scan jobs
u can try this if familiar with service mode>
Service Mode .JPG
Print out the User Data Lists, P-Print and any other prints that may contain User Settings before clearing MMI.
Clearing MMI
1) Go into Service Mode level 1.
2) Hit Copier.
3) Hit Function.
4) Hit Clear.
5) Hit MMI and select OK.
6) Wait for the OK button to return and reboot the copier.
If 'Check The TCP/IP' occurs after clearing MMI follow this procedure to restore the imagePASS C1 function:if one is connected-
1. In service mode Copier/Option/Int-Face/Img-Cont: Set Img-Cont to = "3"
NOTE: (Set to 3 and press OK again even if it is already at 3).
2. Turn the machine off then on again, this will resolve the 'Check The TCP/IP' display.
3. Turn the power of the imagePASS C1/C2 off then on again if it has a power switch>otherwise use the shutdown method under Printer tab.
(Check the display under printer option to make sure the imagePASS C1 comes to an idle state).
NOTE: If the machine displays the message 'turn off and on the main power switch' do so and check the printer option screen again for an idle indication.**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment

Re: IRC 3220 cannot cancel e-mail scan jobs
Cancel those waiting to print docs , if u can
The User Data List button is grayed out.
The User Data List cannot be printed out.
Solution :
Verify that the machine is not out of paper.

or
To Set Drawers as Eligible to Print the User Data List:
1. Hit Additional Functions.
2. Press Common Settings.
3. Hit Drawer Eligibility for APS/ADS.
4. Select Other.
5. Set the drawers that you wish to be able to print the User Data List to ON.
6. Press OK.
if ok/ just do the clear MMI Procedure-
II. Perform a clear of the MMI memory for the control panel. To clear the memory:
1. Enter service mode by hitting Additional Functions, the 2 and 8 keys simultaneously, and then Additional Functions.
2. Select Copier.
3. Select the Functions tab.
4. Select the Clear option.
5. Select MMI and hit OK.
6. Hit Reset to get out of service mode. The copier will prompt you for a Department ID and Password. Ignore this and Reboot the copier by switching off the main power switch.
* This solution only fixes the User Data List issue when the button is grayed out. If the button is missing or the Report Settings button is missing, there may be another problem, possible that the NIC is not installed or functioning.

Re: IRC 3220 cannot cancel e-mail scan jobs
After Clearing MMI, I got 'Check The TCP/IP' message
I set img-cont to "3" and turn the machine off and on again.
The panel stuck at 'wait' for 10 mins.
I turned the machine off and on again.
Now still stuck at 'wait'
I don't think there is imagePass C1 on my copier.
Thank you for your patience guiding me thru.Comment

Re: IRC 3220 cannot cancel e-mail scan jobs
Yes, I don't have imagePass C1.
How do I get out of 'wait' to re-configure img-cont ?
I tried addition function -> 2 & 8 -> addition function while booting up.
The screen panel and key pad got lock up , I can not change anything.Comment

Re: IRC 3220 cannot cancel e-mail scan jobs
i have had similar problems as well on IRC3220/3200.
My solution for this is to- backup data using rui
- enter service mode level 1
- clear MNCON
- restart copier and input the IP address & restart
- Restore data using RUI
anyone have any idea why this happens?
Any solutions for prevention?Comment
