    CANON C1 - BLANK COPY

Some suggestions please - got in this morning and my C1 fired up just fine - then went to print and got blank sheets - I put an original on the glass and same thing - went to the test charts from the service mode - same thing - took a few minutes to pull and reseat the charge and pre-transfer and still no change - no other error codes just blank copy - no time to further explore today will deal with it as a happy monday project.

    thanks

Re: CANON C1 - BLANK COPY

        Thanks for the suggestions -
we switched to the backup machine and I pursued this further yesterday-
        1) no image on the drum, switched the charge and transfer from the back up machine still no image - reseated all connectors for the processor unit (again) to be sure a canon connector issue wasn't getting me - finally ran 25 copies and got a 000020-0186 error - patch sensor issue - obviously if there is no image on the drum the patch sensor won't read a "no image" -

        2) went into service mode and checked the charge and transfer high voltage settings - they are where the service manual says is a start point from factory -

        3) Laser? Drum Bias? (yes there is toner in the machine - had a customer run out of toner on an old panasonic once)

        thanks

Check the black plastic cover and slide on the P-kit.
