I'm sure it is a combonation of aftermarket toner and running drums too far past 100%. Companies are always pushing us farther and farther to make a few extra bucks! Gotta do as we're told I guess....

I'm not a field tech anymore (thank god), now I'm doing help desk so I'm speaking of what I've heard recently from my techs.

Where I work, we have been known to squeeze a bit of extra life out of the drums, and I have had it where cleaning the sensors made a difference, it was only for a little while, and sure as eggs the ITB would be replaced next call, and it wouldn't be a long time between calls.

time to get down to basic procedures !!!!!!!
            1.-stop posting cut off images.
            2.-Paper size being used ?
3.-Is the issue on Main Scan(Crossfeed>Front to Back) or Sub-Scan(Paper Feed>Right to Left) direction or both ?
4.-Post a PG6 GRID TEST/ will show if single color or multiple color issue and direction issue.

U could also have a bad ITB/DRUM DRIVE ASSEMBLY
/ have changed a few of these in the past on the 3380 model to resolve reg.issues

Did u Remove the noise dampening pad for the Registration sensor flag and then perform a Reg-Clear, Quick Adjust and then adjusting the IMG-REG .

For a front to rear (cross feed) direction only
problem may be resolved by clearing out the Registration Data stored in the DC Controller. To clear the data, perform the following.

Enter Service Mode: Level 2 > Copier > Function > Clear > Reg/Clear. Highlight Reg/Clear and press OK.
After performing the clear, reboot the machine and perform a Gradation Quick Adjust and then a Full Gradation adjust.

            Note*
Following the instructions above could prevent you from having to perform a DC-CON clear, and inputting all DC-CON values from the door label.

What firmware ver. is in your printer ???

THIS IS A MAIN SCAN ISSUE(CROSS-FEED>front to rear)
see a up close copy of your PG6
posters>double click on pic for better view
                pg6.JPG

Auto-registration detection control refers to the previous control values and decides the next setting values. If the previous control values are off the range due to some errors (e.g. PCRG is not set correctly), the next control values are affected and the auto-registration detection correction cannot be performed appropriately.

DID U DO THIS PROCEDURE IN LEVEL 2 OF SERVICE MODE
your DCON ver.must be at least 21.04 to access this mode below
                Service Mode: Level 2 > Copier > Function > Clear > Reg/Clear. Highlight Reg/Clear and press OK.
After performing the clear, reboot the machine and 1.perform a Gradation Quick Adjust
2.-and then a Full Gradation adjust.

                IF that fails>>>>>
Before U perform a DC-CON clear, Print out your P-PRINT SETTINGS >power of/on and RE in-putt all DC-CON values after clear.
                then POWER of/on
