    IR3570 SPOTS

I am working on a ir3570 that has spots on the platen copies, spots on the adf copies and no spots on the prints. It has to be the scanner. We cleaned the optics and reset the ccd to no avail. Is there a way to adjust the scanner or do we need new parts. The copies are darker than the prints and have small dots all over them. Any help would be appreciated.

start service mode level 1, copier , adjustment, develop (change the value of DE- OFST in the negative direction) this might help you fix the problem also make sure that the customer is using an original canon toner.

You get black spots with the pirate toners & drums.
