[Error Code] Canon IR 4080 Code - E000100-0202

Hi, I am a Ricoh Technician and I am fairly new to this forum. One of our customers has a Canon Image Runner 4080 and it is giving problems. When you turn the machine on, the Canon logo appears, and the home screen loads up. However, all of a sudden displays the error code E000110-0202. Machine then asks to shutdown and restart again. After turning off the machine and then turning it back on, the error code shows up right after the canon logo loads up.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated as I am clue less when it comes to Canon.

The temperature of the fixing assembly is abnormally high
Inspect the fixing assembly
Copier > function > clear > error

E110 Polygon error
1st line: Always 0
2nd line: Station where the error occurred (1: Y, 2: M, 3: C, 4: K)
3rd line: Main unit status when the error occurred (0: Activating, 1: Correcting the image position, 2: Changing the speed, 3: Operating steadily)
4th line: Polygon control status (0: Suspension, 1: FG rotation, 2: BD control 1, 3: BD control 2, 4: BD control 3, 5: BD control 4, 6: Phase locked


0xx2 A BD signal has never been detected.
(It may be caused by damage to the laser PCB/BD sensor or removal of
the harness.)
(1)Check whether the harness is not removed.
(2)Replace the scanner unit. (Laser Assembly)
(3)Replace the harness.
(4)Replace the DC controller PCB 1 (IMG).
(5)Replace the power unit.

to isolate the error, interchange the cyan with the magenta laser unit and see, if the code changes to 0203
