    [Error Code] Canon IR 2800 E602-0003 Problem

    Hi

    I have a Canon IR 2800 and it has the E602 -0003 error. I believe this is a hard drive fault. I have rand my local repair centre in Ireland and they have told me the machine part can no longer be got. I see i can order the hard drive on ebay. Can anyone point me in the direction of were to get the software for this machine and is it hard to install this. I am more use to repairing PC's than photocopiers.

      you will need firmware for the machine, a Proprietary software to load it and a special cable to connect your PC to the copier. If this is a one time deal just call your local canon provider and have them take care of it.

          I'm very new to copiers overall but guess there's just some trouble with the HDD itself. E602-0003/2 will go back to normal in almost 100% of the cases with a new harddrive. Also the firmware versions differs between machines with network and those without. if you got access to a disc drive duplicator and just got one disc that's working this should be solved in about 15 min.

              good response but next time try responding to a more current post as this thread was never responded to by the original poster almost 2 months ago.
