    C3220 can't print from network

I have a c3220 and I am unable to print to it, it errors out. I can scan from it and log into it fine. I cannot get into the fiery webtools, it errors saying "open network socket error Check status and network, then try again" I suspect this is the reason why the print jobs are not printing.

I have the printer setup correctly and it displays all the current conditons of the copier.

    What am I doing wrong?

    do u have a imagePass C1/2 connected ?
On boot up the imagePASS may display a 2 digit LED error code /check it

    the C1 will not have a 2 digit led window/ it will have 4 diag.small led's

    Workaround :
    Code Details
00 Normal boot in process, or normal operation
FF Failed boot for any reason except the listed below:
E3 RAM DIMM not usable: No DIMM loaded, or DIMM failed, or DIMM socket is bad.
1b Hardware problem in the DIMM socket area. Visually inspect for manufacturing errors or damage.
b3 The board failed around either the memory checking or during/after enumeration of the PCI devices.

Please examine the following when this code occurs:
    - check the RMA DIMM areas of the PCBA
    - check the SouthBridge IC soldering
    - check the voltage rails listed in the debugging spreadsheet
    20 DIMM 52/118pin contact failure
    16
    17
    4b
    8a
All of those error codes relate to the northbridge area (U170). Please visually inspect and maybe try to replace or xray the northbridge.
C0 Under investigation( DIMM socket 0 or DIMM?)
C1 Under investigation( DIMM socket 1 or DIMM?)

    1. Make sure running TCP/IP on the PC and TCP/IP enabled on the controller. 2. Make sure can PING the IP address given to the controller.
    3. Make sure all queues (Print, Hold, and Direct) on the controller are enabled and
    published.
    4. When configuring the utilities make sure to use the correct naming
scheme. For the Server name just type in the IP address assigned to the Controller.
For the Device name make sure to use the correct Device name which is
    specific for each product.

    Error: Socket of Network Connection

    Causes: Hold queue not enabled.

    Configuration problem.
Problem with the naming scheme. Troubleshooting:
    1. Make sure that TCP/IP is configured correctly on the PC and on the controller.
    2. Make sure the IP address given to the controller is valid and responds to a PING command.
    3. Make sure all queues (Print, Hold, and Direct) on the controller are enabled and/or published.
    4. When configuring the CWS or other utility, make sure to use the correct naming scheme. For the Nickname you can enter anything you like, for example, for a ColorPASS V35, the nickname can be V35 or Canon or CP_V35. For the Server name, just type in the IP address assigned to the Controller. For the Device name, make sure to use the correct Device name which is specific for each product.
To find the correct device name for your controller, see the attached PDF files or use thefollowing procedure:
    1. Print out a Configuration Page.
    2. Look at the Printer Setup section of the Configuration Page.
    3. Under "Printer Setup",there will be a line as follows:
Device Setup, where device is the device name to which the controller is attached.
    * In the Configuration Page below from a ColorPASS Z650, the device name is 1100.

I have a C1 attatched. I can ping it fine.

I am not 100% sure how to: Make sure all queues (Print, Hold, and Direct) on the controller are enabled and/or published.

I can log into remote UI fine by using 192.168.1.104:8080 but when I just use 192.168.1.104 I get the Fiery webtools page with the error: "open network socket error Check status and network, then try again"

pretty sure it's a simple error, just cant get it

Let me play devils advocate here and ask the stupid question. Have you powered down both units, copier and C1, and restarted them to see if communications get re-established?

                    3. In Network Setup>Service Setup enable Web Services.
