Hi All
A little bizzare this one and im hoping someone may have come across this before.
We have a Canon ir3035. The print server is a w2k3 server (firewall disabled).
I have used the drivers from Canon, run through the setup and selected the appropriate driver, installed DIAS and set the printer up.
I have then allocated the printer through to some Windows 7 stations (firewall disabled). When users logon to the stations and click the get device status button they receive the error could not get device information. If I manually add the printer, IE open devices and printers, click on add printer and then browse active directory for it, it seems to work. Clicking on check device status comes back with got device information and will allow me to input department IDs and print successfully. This happens on any users (incl domain admins).
Anyone come across this before or maybe shed a little light on this for me??
Cheers
