    iR5000 with E225

    hi...
    I have iR5000 with error E225. I sure the CCD unit, Rcon board, inverter board, exp lamp, and flexybel.... normal!!! What happend???

      It looks like you hit all the logical choices. If I recall correctly the lamp heater is built into the exposure lamp. I'm sure you have done the shading adjust.

      How about the lamp harness? Also make sure that your white level reference is clean, white, & undamaged.

      As a long shot, check that you're getting clean AC power. Low voltage or dirty power can make the lamp flicker, not reach the appropriate brightness, or light too slowly.

      What do you mean by 'flexybel'?
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          it's to hard to choose. you have collect your answer to check.

          but.. i was have e225.. it's cause by a platen glass. with the zero level check it's broken.. try replace the platen glass.

          "lampu kedip2 aja pas dinyalain ya. priksa kacanya tu ada alumunium nempel didepannya buat reflektor cahaya lampu. coba ganti kaca ma ir 5000 yg laen"

              thats right copy glass and ccd shield need to be installed before testing.
              Make sure the white plate is on the proper side it should be on. Left side facing down. Now for the weird stuff. Heard of the finisher controller pcb caused this error. Unplug the finisher. Also replace the scan lamp and regulator pcb with the new style. You didn't say if the lamp came on or not. Check the star washer on the lamp inverter pcb. If the lamp is coming on, then its just not seeing it. Meaning cable at ccd or similar

                      My problem e225 was correctly. I used platen glass with unstandard and I changed it with the standard platen glass, the error was correctly.

                      Nyong baru ngerti kalo kaca atas ada reflektornya. thanks ndez.. aku Chen Raizo tenan...
