I have an IR3035 with finisher S1 that is having issues. The first stapled copy comes out fine but then the rest will not staple. The exit rollers stay in the up position and wont push the paper to the corner to receive a staple. The shaft looks fine, nothing looks broken. Any ideas on what is keeping the rollers up?

Any jam code?Check for firmware ver.There is alot Measures for finisher issues.How many copies have machine?

can almost guarantee something with the mechanism that lifts that feed assembly. Seeing a lot of these lately. pop off the front cover then top cover then you can see the linkage. I've had 3 of the black horizontal shaft break on me on the front side of the machine. Check it out let us know. You may get a 500 series e code or not. 2 did code out 1 did not.
