[Misc] CLC3220 convert to print as iRC3220n

    Hi,
I have a customer with CLC3220 and dont have a fiery as they got donated the copier.
they are a charity and i am trying to help them.

Copier works fine but they would like to print to it.

I have installed |BOOT ROM N vesion and have upgraded the all the firmware.
The BOOT ROM N as well.
Enabled the network option on the screen.

I can ping to the copier from PC, but when i installed printer drivers and try to print
    i get no joy.

I even Tried with my laptop with Canon fix Ip address 172.16.1.100 and copier on FIX IP mode no joy.
The copier can be pinged no problem.

    I would appreciate any help.

    Thank you..

You also need to access copier's Service Mode to change from "3" to "0" for following setting :

      Copier > Option > Body > IMG-CONT

A restart of the copier is needed

I have installed surf board from another copier, but still no joy in printing.
I can ping the copier no problem, but when i send a print job nothing happens.
          Not even processing message.
Maybe is there something in the service mode i have to enable?

          Thanks

            Upgrade the RAM, also find if COPIER > DISPLAY > ACC-STS > PS/PCL = 1

Copier can be pinged but you can not open RUI or print to it
does the RUI no print also effect you not printing ??

Problem may be caused by the IP address Range setting being set to on but no IP address was specified.
To check or change the IP Address Range settings select Additional Functions > System Settings > Network Settings > TCP/IP settings > IPv4 > IP Address Range settings and set all options to Off.
In this screen there are 4 sub menus, [Reject IPv4 Address], [Permit IPv4 Address], [Reject IPv4 Address] & [Permit IPv4 Address]. Go into each one of these sub menus and set them to Off.
Next power cycle the copier and test.

                  have u tried a MMI Clear ???
