[Misc] Too mauch toner while printing

There is too much toer when printing only.
    Canon IR 6000n
by the way it was also in coping but i solved it by reducing Copy Dens from 5 to 2 (Copier - Adjust - Dens).
but don't know how to reduce toner on the letter of the words on the printed paper it's too much now.
    thanks.

I had similar experience some time and did the following with good results:Go to COPIER>ADJUST>DEVELOP>BIAS.Increase setting of Bias from say 180>220 likewise adjust the values for HVT-DE to any value to + or- as you test on both copying and printing.

all of those nonsense settings mean nothing if u don't follow a "CALIBRATION" schedule

you should check if your door specs are correctly entered.
someone might have been playing with some values.

1 look around under additional functions > printing, there is something there, maybe printing quality >toner save.

2 from the PCL driver, go to printing properties >printing preferences> quality, then select an objective,
click details, then you will see a choice to turn on toner save.

the other drivers are slightly different.

Good but this way save too much (the printed paper is nearly faint). aren't there a way between?
                      thanks

what makes you think there is too much toner?
did you use a test canon sheet?
I think your copies are normal, but you are not used to seeing good quality prinnt.
