    ir 1022

    Hi

I have a problem on an ir1022 the original fault was that one of the flag sensors on the open/close cover was broken I tried repairing but plastic housing was beyond repair.

It would feed sheets through handler and when job finished message that there was a jam in feeder came up all of the time ! on single and multiple copies.

So I replaced the open close cover assy and now I get check Document all of time and single sheet jams at exit all of the time and no sheets can be fed through!

When I put back the original open close assy I get the original fault back!

    Any Help would be appreciated.

      Hi,

Do you mean sensor underneath adf on left hand side by removing 3 taper screws. Senor arm looks to be in place fine.

Jam codes in history are 0007,0008 and now 000A with new open /close cover assy.

I ran out of time to fault find but thinking to change all the senors X 3 but why different problems with open/close assy?
