IR6570 SST & FIRMWARE ????????

Hi,

I have IR6570 and giving E601-0001. I read a lot about this error (copytechnet) and found hard drive death. I contacted two branch of authorize canon tech and asked them to fix this prob. However, until now (waiting for two weeks) there are no feedback at all. The question is, will you all willing to help me to fix this problem? Can I use the machine (without hard drive) for copy only?

I think NO you can't do it. You must repair it or get a new one.
Also you tray to download the System Software of this machine before buying a new HD.

you need access to a Canon Support site and have to be an authorized vendor. Or you have to pay someone who has this information and is willing to share it with you!

E601 means that the HD of your machine is dead, must be change.You will need a hd and sst firmware.eu'm a trained technician certificate in canon by the ATSP level here in silver BRAZIL.Estou here to help you no matter borders.

why doent manuals 4 u get a life instead trying to sell his manuals,
its a tech website not ebay, you be better off selling your manual on ebay.

because without M4U your post wouldn't have a place to be posted in c.tech....his money helps run this site and without him I doubt it would be around....and just don't assume that someone is or isn't trained on anything in here. It's the internet people can claim anything they want.

Also look at it this way. You are a tech working on a copier, printer, fax, MFP and your need help. What is the one thing all techs should have????
