    Canon 2120 making faint copies

The copies come out as normal the the top 3 inches of the copy are much fainter than the rest, any ideas why this would be happening?

Check the dev. unit for even toner distribution in the hopper and on the mag roller. Clean or replace the mail and transfer corona wires. If the transfer corona unit is old you best replace it. The main charge unit is built into the drum unit. Good luck.

The fainted copy runs about two inches down the top of the copy and there are a few rogue faint lines throughout the rest of the copy. It is not the dev unit as I swapped it out, I wonder if defective toner could be a problem or the drum?

Replace the transfer corona unit. Been there done that.
