You need to upgrade the Q1 to a Q2 with the software then it will work

yes I have two Q1's in the field both on C1+ models running Q2 software
have a read:aid=68419.pdf

Keep in mind that it doesn't support the clear toner which we do not support anyway so not a big deal on our end.

we had a sales rep forget to include the Q2 on one sale so we had to improvise there and then we took over an account that had a C1+ with a T1 and they wanted better quality and job management so we took a Q1 and upgraded it there as well. Saved quite a bit of money because of this!!!
