    [CQ] Banding / Mis-Registration on IRA 50xx

Top to bottom banding (Not lead to trail ) on all colours. Very noticable on half tones and PG 6 test prints. Looks like width of drum or dev roller. After changing Drums , dev assy 's , Main Controller 2 (as per ATI from Tecktat !) ITB mod kit and 2nd transfer roller still apparent. This also gives noticeable mis-reg both horizontal and vertical which when manually adjusted to spec, still cannot be locked in via service mode. Last chance saloon was a firmware upgrade..... success.
    DC - v63.01
    Main - 61.05

Timing fault on drum drive motor timing which with update was ammended.
Oh...... I can't copy at the moment then ? !!!!!!

We have had one 5051 with similar banding issues. Machine is in a print shop which is horrible and has 790K on it when the image issues really started. I have to say the main drive is not fun to replace and just about as bad as the IRC-3200 and 5180 series. Luckily there are fewer connectors to worry about and these newer connectors are a lot nicer!!!!
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.
