    Canon IR 5000 bypass noise

IR 5000. When paper goes to feed from bypass it makes a loud grinding noise and doesnt pick up the paper.
Sounds like 2 rubber rollers mashing together. Any ideas what might be causing this?

Without looking in the parts book, I believe it is CL3 directly behind the system box.
I will check the location, the bearing that sits it in place usually is bad.
