    hi all
im a 20yr konica, sharp and kyo-mita tech who is opening a copy center, i recently acquired a canon ir210s with only 62k on it, ive got the mechanics of it down, but i could use a manual for resetting drum count etc....any common problems? also im looking for a print system for it if anyone has one cheap, ill be glad to trade konica minolta manuals or anything else i may have for the manual or print kit, thanks a million canon guys

This is the predecessor to the iR330/400 series. These are really solid machines. If I remember correctly, these machines must be ordered with all the accessories preconfigured (no add on's allowed). The paper pickup systems are fairly reliable (just don't look inside. They're a mechanical nightmare. I wrote myself an 8 pg disassembly/reassembly procedure complete with illustrations, if you need it). Copy quality holds well. Few paper feed problems. Just a good box.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

great, thanks for the info, very encouraging, we got it as a trade in and my owner let me take it since im opening a copy center, it certainly is cheap to operate, the drum and blade kit was $22 from precission roller, (wholesale) im very happy to have gotten my hands on it.

The only thing you've got to worry about is obselescence. This was Canons third digital copier, and has been out there a lot of years. It has probably already been discontinued for parts by Canon. Your only source will be the usual aftermarket sources.
