irc 5185 display

Today after powering ON , display dont work on touch. Im try to enter in service mode and this is OK but latter I cant exit because key dont work, then I try enter in level 2 and is OK but exit not. Someone have idea what is problem or I have gremlins

check for a stuck key/ test all for response /
remove memory/clean ends/ re-seat it

Is there a Z-fold module that can be mounted on this device?

No Z fold option was made for this model

I know that is not made specifically for this model but Canon uses much the same things on different devices. It is possible that one model can be installed on the other, though not specifically designed for this model.

example:

FG6-8989 TRANSFER CLEANING ASSEMBLY

Its the same for 5185 and 3200

Belt the same (only belt not set)

Toner

etc. ....

It is easy possible that some Z-fodl module can be connected to 5185

did you turn it off a lot when you had fuser problems?
i just had to format and reload a 5570 with the same symptoms.
reloading only does not work. never seen this before.

i was about to change the lcd, and luckily i spoke to the regular tech, who clued me in to the fact that on all their machines he has had to format and reload after they have an ecode , because they turnoff and on until the drive gets corrupted.

It is easy possible that some Z-fodl module can be connected to 5185

first it has to physically fit, entrance height has to be exactly in the right spot. and the same with exit height going to the finisher.

next the signals have to be programmed.
