    scanning proplam

I need a solution for the problem in canon ir-105. I Changed the Floracent lamp then the problem is started. ADF is scanning perfectly, but manual scanning of the lamp does not perform correctly. (some time does not move, some time late scanning) Pls help me.

    Re: scanning proplam

Check lamp cable and original sensor unit.

Execute the following in service mode in sequence:

    COPIER> FUNCTION> CCD> CCD-ADJ
    COPIER> FUNCTION> CCD> LUT-ADJ

All items of the following will be updated; record them on the service
    label: COPIER>ADJUST>CCD, COPIER> ADJUST> LAMP> LDATA.

Turn off and then on the main power switch.
Make test copies in book mode and feeder mode to make sure that the
images are not displaced; if displaced, execute the following:
    Book Mode
    A: COPIER> ADJUST> ADJ-XY> ADJ-X
    B: COPIER> ADJUST> ADJ-XY> ADJ-Y
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

      Thankyou Sir,
I followed your steps. But While executing COPIER> FUNCTION> CCD> CCD-ADJ, We get E220 Error and COPIER> FUNCTION> CCD> LUT-ADJ was executed successfully. then we restarted the machine, the same error occurs.for this we rectify the error by changing the values in COPIER> ADJ> CCD>(the value from service lable). Now the machine is running with the same old problem(delay of scanning lamp for every individual scanning).pls help me sir. waiting for your valuable comments,

      with regards,

Why do you replace a lamp at the first time??

Can be something wrong with the light control or the the reader controller PCB.

Check again connector J852, J853 of the light control PCB is mounted properly.

scanning lamp heater also can be bad.

            Hi

I have nearly the same problem. I attached a video so you can see how much time to wait until the error e220 display.
This problem happened after I changed the fluorescent lamp because I found the old one burned.

Try re-seating all the connections on the reader Controller PCB. Measure lamp volts on PCB and J852, J853.Why are you recording display and not scanner lamp? The lamp moves? Turn on? Time to wait so long is normal.Machine measure lamp intenity 60 sec.Maybe is new lamp also bad. In worst case replace the reader controller PCB.

Thank you very much Mr. zoraldinho.
The problem solved by re-setting all connections on the reader Controller PCB.

                  But I have some questions:
1- where to measure voltage on PCB for the lamp? why I don't only measure the voltage input of the lamp? ( while the lamp is out and run the machine ).
2- I couldn't find the place of J852, and J853 in the manual.

                  Regards.
