Do you hear the hard disk spin up?
    Any beep codes maybe?
Check if you cd-rom spin up!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

There could be several causes for this error message:
      1. System software on the HDD is corrupted.
      2. Cable connections to the HDD are loose or faulty.
      3. Display video board , UIB board, or video board is not seated correctly on the motherboard.
      4. There could be a network conflict with the ColorPASS.

*Note - Before trying the following steps, be sure to remove the network cable from the back of the ColorPASS and reboot. It should boot if the problem was a network conflict.

In order to resolve this error message you will need to try the following:
      1. Re-store the system software backup using the Restore Backup function from the service menu or the Restore CD.
      2. Re-install system software from the System Software CD(s).
      3. Check the cable connections to the HDD, and the cable connections to back of the ColorPASS and make sure that all boards are seated properly. Try re-seating UIB board with its bracket removed (the bracket may be preventing it from seating properly in the slot).
      4. Reboot the ColorPASS.
      5. If the problem still persists, you will need to replace the HDD cable or the HDD.

With Z60, you could plug keyboard/monitor/mouse to this tower-type CPU. It would easy for you to see what is wrong with it. Based on it happened after a power shutdown, it likely it system OS is corrupted. You will need the restore CD to get it back to life.

i bought this machine 5 years ago in very used condision and i dont have any restore CD or software..I have been searching for something like that but nothing happens. I have only the software and drivers from official site of canon. Nothing else.

I belive that the problem is from software corrupt.

          I hear the HDD working

I have this problem since our electricity company had some blackouts

          Thanks for your answer....

u need line conditioners with these old Color Pass's /
because if they are not shutdown properly>the boot up process gets corrupted/
go call a Canon Support company & tell them exactly what the issue is/ make sure tech has firmware to get the color pass working
