    Canon IR 5570 E632 and E633

I have a Canon IR 5570 copier coding out with E633 and E632. I Googled the problem and it looks like problems with the Reader controller, flat cables and the interface board.

I do not have a manual for this but I assume the Reader Controller is under the glass and the Interface board is directly under the document feeder hinge area. Correct?

Under the doc feeder is two boards One on top of the metal box and one inside the metal box. Which one is the Interface board?

    Thanks,

My bad: I am having problems with 733 and 732 codes. A little dyslexic. And I was taking parts off of a 5065 trying to fix a 5070. Looks like they combined two boards into one on the 5070.

So I rechecked the flat connector cables and ended up with an E225. This was due to the glass not being in place on power on.

I fixed that and thought the machine was back up. However, all copies coming off the glass or doc feeder are significantly light. All printer material (laser) are fine. So the print engine is good.

I made sure everything was back in place and did a CCD adjust. I get OK. It sets itself to 1125 when door specs are 1222. Light copy is produced. So I set it to 1222 and cps are darker but still blasted away. I do atrianglulated sky shot and can see the skyshot and a BIG dark A I wrote on the test sheet but everything else is blown away by the light being to bright.

      When I do SCANLAMP test= start-ok!

      CCD test start-ok!

I went to SVClv2 and not a lot there for CCD other than the 1222 setting and two ref values.

I rechecked all ribbon cables and they all look fine.

Copier works as a printer but copying is out. Even with the AE taken off and manual exposure maxed out dark.

      Any thoughts?
