Just installed a c5051 What are some common Errors that we are seeing on the c5000

New machine c5051 a couple months ago so it should have all the updates. What errors should I review or issues to worry about. I know all about the fixing unit noises. ITB upgrades. Developer drive was fixed on these big ones or soon after launch right?

Anything else? Oh and what about the internal finisher. Isnt there some glitchy crap or hardware problems with those?

If you are familiar with ITB and fixing problems,you have nothing to worry about.


internal finisher issues:

E532-0002 error due to the stapler coming off
jam 1101 issue
E532-0001
corner bend of paper due to lower curl of paper
1400 jam attributed to the left inner cover

Watch out for E0075's
Could be a number of problems
I have had a few of these where the ITB has traveled to the rear or the front of the ITB asm,
There a few things you can do, like after realigning the belt to lift or lower the driver motor (depending on which way the belt has gone)
Also Ive had a couple of times where the ITB tension holder snaps and this will loose tension on one side of the tension holder (Thus the belts moves across again)

Thanks I would like to know the part number for the tension holder you mean. For sure want to order some of those to be ready. When a e0075 happens isnt it just time to rebuild the ITB? I havent yet taken apart one in the field but have taken one apart and learned the system.

Ok itb covered. On new machines that have been delivered recent we shouldnt have to worry about weak parts. What else?
