[Misc] IRC 2550i (New) unable to print color

Just got hold of a IRC2550i, (old stock, brand new machine).
However, no CMY at all. when to service mode, seems normal.

Below is a test page printed out.
Pls note it is a brand new machine. I am not sure if Canon did any settings or is there any information i need to key in to "activate" the colour drums or laser?

Appreciate all expert advice and i have attached the printer calibration printout.

    Regards!

I missed that out. Machine is in warehouse right now.

Should there be no colour, what could be the error?
If there is, what could be the error?

I will get a pg-10 next 2 days and update.
My boss wants me to make sure the machine is working before bringing it back.

Thanks all expert for the advice.

make sure your shutters are open all the way on your laser unit. They tend to stick and block the laser light causing the issue you are seeing and it does not cause an error since the BD mirror is still getting signal.

We have removed the shutters in some cases, but reseating the drum/ITB housing has fixed the issue in some cases after riding on the truck.

run a 30 page copy to see if error pops up---

open right door-cheat the switch-power up- see if patches are on ITB

1.- what happens when u try to copy a color doc off the glass (error ?/limited function message/can not select full color)
2.- have u inspected the color units ?
3.- who set this printer up ?

              see these settings---

I would do as teckat mentioned and run with the door open or run the auto gradation adjust. If you are not getting color on the belt then you have a transfer issue or development problem.

if the colors are showing up on the belt then something is up with the system causing you issues when copying and printing.

Have you tried flashing the firmware and doing an overwrite all?

A long shot....Problem with Transfer belt cleaning blade assy? Probably not as this would almost surely give blank copies.
