            E073 error codes.
E073 with the front door closed, the transfer drawer connector or the transfer frame drawer connector is not connected

Check the transport/duplex connector. Paper can get lodged in the connector and a small piece can disrupt the digital communication and commonly, cause error code.

the problem could be on the corresponding transport connector.
you may have to take transport off and look

There should be a circuit breaker at the lower backside of the mashine, check it out

                            CIRCUIT BREAKER

                            FUSER RELAY

Electric Leakage Breaker is intermittently activating. Re-setting the tripped breaker is a temporary solution.

replacing the AC Driver resolved the problem.

                              Hello everyone,

Im in desperate need of your help again. I have using this canon IR5870 for about 4 months, i just ordered new toners for it...it printed ok on normal plain paper with here and there with dark spots....yesterday i needed to print post cards, on 100lb paper....it was very very bad quality, so i thought about cleaning the inside with compressed air....after i did that, no i get jam error looks like at sensor 13 or 14, the paper doesnt even get picked up from the tray and it throws a jam error. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank You.

why would shoot compressed air inside a printer
are u a tech ? if so u should know better-

what u have now is probably dust and toner inside the sensors for pick-up and along paper path/
do u realize how many sensors are in this model that effect paper path

spots can be caused by bad primary filters and a defective primary corona assembly.

random black spots can be caused by a worn mylar in the ITB Cleaning Assembly

                                what are the JAM CODES
