There is no way you can change BootROM from N to C or vice-visa.
Based on this thread #3, you had attached a printed Configuration page:

You stand-alone test seems to have miss out fixing your laptop's IP address to static. That why it show "limited connection" with IP 169.254.20.154 Try fix a static IP (e.g. 10.17.100.110) for laptop as your Fiery's 10.17.100.109
Actually, the Fiery's specified Gateway IP (10.17.0.1) looks a bit odd. You might want to verify that information. If there isn't any need for it, fixed it as 127.0.0.1
Basically, you have 2 issues network connectivity AND BootROM. Solved the first one first to confirm that you able to print. Next, tackle replacement of BootROM N to C as advise by Teckat to avoid getting any spooling issue.
