    [Jamming] Canon imageclass mf5750 paperjam

WHEN I TRY TO MAKE "1" A SINGLE COPY ON MY CANON IMAGECLASS MF5750, IT ALWAYS JAMS AFTER HALF OF THE PAPER HAS EXITED OUT OF THE FUSER, AND ALSO ANOTHER PAPER JAMMED UNDERNEATH THE TONER CARTRIDGE (EVEN THOUGH I MADE ONE COPY). INSTEAD OF PICKING UP ONE PAPER TO MAKE MY SINGLE COPY IT PICKS UP TWO AND THEN JAMS BEFORE THE FIRST ONE IS OUT...CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME, THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. DOES ANYONE HAVE THE MANUAL FOR IT?

      Thanks zoraldinho,
I found the spring...although I did stretch it, the paper still Jams. Just like before. It still makes two copies instead of one and they both Jam.

When picking up paper from the cassette, the paper pick-up roller may make several rotations, causing a paper jam.

        Capture_082.jpg

        <Cause>

In the paper pick-up operation, a stop of the paper pick-up roller is controlled by letting the pawl of pick-up solenoid [B]
engage with the cam [C] of 25T gear [A]. Because of this mechanism, a mix of a few reasons such as variance of parts
generated during production and the assembly condition of parts can cause the pawl to fail to engage with the cam,
causing several rotations of the gear. If this occurs, the paper pick-up roller repeats the paper pick-up operation
        continuously, causing a paper jam.

        Capture_083.jpg

        Service work:

When the foregoing symptom occurs, replace the pick-up solenoid by the new type. The last 2 digits of the part number
printed on the solenoid show the revision number: ‘01’ means the old type solenoid, and ‘02’ means the new type.

I know this is a different copier but I just wanted to post this since you guys have helped me with my other canon copier. My Canon Imageclass D761 is displaying E000, and I have read online that you can remove the error in the service mode...but my problem is I do not know how to get into service mode. does any of you know?...thanks

                    solinoid.jpg
I have seen this fault many times, this is the same engine on a few older Canon desktop models.

It is the sound dampening pad on that pick up solenoid, it gets sticky & causes the pick up solenoid to stay on for a second or 2 longer.

If you take off the side cover, take out the cassette you can just see the solenoid enough to remove the pad with a pin, paper clip etc. No need to order parts.
