Try 100GSM paper as a test.

      Dear all,

As pointed above, this jam is mainly due to your paper quality. In addition to that, it might be damp because of being badely packed or present in the drawers for days. As the machine works in recto, there no need to change any sensor in the recto paper path. So, use another type of paper or, even, try a heavier one just to show that to your custmer.

There is an "unofficial modification" for duplex jamming. Take out your tray 1&2 paper feed unit, there is a plastic guide that the paper passes over, part of the guide has a gap in it, you need to cut and sellotape a piece of assotate to cover this gap. Slightly hard to explain without diagrams but you should see what I mean once you have the feed unit out.

        Cheers.

I still believe that the flag of the duplex sensor does not go back to the home position within a specified time thus the jam in the duplex.Try to tension the flag spring for better results.

            Hi everybody

            The jam code is 0122:
            01: for delay jams.
22: duplex output paper sensor (PS18)

If any of the flags doesn't go back to its home postion, the display jam code would be a stationnary one (02xx).
