Dear Friends,

Please check the attachment as i am facing the problem in canon copier ir2200. Even if i run the p print from the machine problem is same, so pls advise.

Laser is running wild, could be laser unit or laser control. first at all, you should try to remove the laser unit and clean all lenses and mirrors thoroughly, also check the polygon motor for smooth running

Definitely is a laser issue.If you use imagination is grounding also an option!

Its not a laser problem i got this problem in many machine sure its from CD unit

I think, he means the developing unit but i have never seen a dev unit causing a picture like this

That means that you've a problem in the printer side.

It seems to be a horizontal synchronozation issue. This could be caused by the laser (beam detect or BD) or the DC controller pcb.

cd unit means copy developing unit

hey friends dont waste time to think about this problem

its from developing unit
replace the magnet roller and cd spacers to fix this problem

if got any problem try and think from ground root level dont think its a laser drive or ccd unit etc

in my 10 year experience i cannot replace a laser drive till
have a nice day to all

Perhaps we have the same problem on my ir 3300 see attachment...I replaced my developing unit but the problem still there. maybe i will try replacing laser unit.

if not on Prints> only copies check Scanner unit--

hi i got this problem in 3300 am change developing unit and solve this problem
pls check ur drum too if any scraches in both side of drum try to replace another drum
