    Fixing Film Grease

Anybody know if Canon sells the grease used for the fixing film?

I've always used Uniflor 8172 with 100% success:

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Funny its their films I'm having problems with. Not sure if the grease they're packing with it is Uniflor 8172 but it seems to burn up and keep the film from moving freely.

Another big thumbs up from the Canon forum USA was Krytox gpl205 . This is good stuff seems to be the same stuff from BOP.com that comes with their "made in germany " films. I have one in a 3570 going strong for many months now. http://bopcanon.com/canon.aspx

I have used a mixture of light Silicon Oil mixed with Thermal compound grease.
          So far so good.
